The Options page for the theme can be found in the sidebar on the bottom where the Menu name TwittPlus is (click that or expand it and click Theme Options).
There you are able to configure

2. The slides category (posts from what category will show in slides section)
3. Logo Url – that you can change by adding a link to the image you want to use instead of your logo (note: logo.psd is inside the TwittPlus theme folder. you can edit with any name you want and save it as jpg then set a refference to it
4. Twitter account (the twitter account name used to create a link to when twitter bird in the slideshow section is clicked ex: appchain will transform in a link automatiacally into a link to http://www.twitter.com/appchain )
5. Feedburner Address (just like twitter only for feedburner using it’s own link)

  2. Nicole H says:

    Hi Ciprian, I love the template the only problem is that I cannot seem to figure out where to put the photos for the slide show. Where should these be uploaded? HELP!

    • Ciprian says:

      Hi,
      You just need to add photos in your content (the content of the post). they are taken and placed in the slideshow automatically. It’s all easy, nothing complicated ;)
      Cheers!

    Hi! GREAT template! Have a question.. when I click on the RSS feed, it DOES offer me an option to subscribe…but I’m not sure why because I never entered any data in to the “Feedburner Address” box. When I go to Feedburner & try to validate the feed I get this error:
    “The URL does not appear to reference a valid XML file. We encountered the following problem: Error on line 509: The element type “div” must be terminated by the matching end-tag “”.”
    I also can’t enable to the “sunscribe via email” option (I get the error that this feature has not been enabled.
    Any help would be much appreciated!
    Thanks!! :)

    • Ciprian says:

      not sure entirely what the problem is. Now if i click on your feed burner, it says it does not have subscriptions by email enabled… Please try to enable that from your feedburner account and give me more details (what browser do you use, is it doing this on all pages, did you try on other computers/other browsers, what exactly did you do to get to the error…etc)

    Hi

    I love the idea of the this template, but it’s really not looking so good on Safari 4.0. The header is offset from the main body of the blog so I’ve had to temporarily switch off.

    Any ideas?

  5. Catherine says:

    If I don’t want to link to facebook, how do I remove the facebook ‘f’? (Note: just setting up site)

    • Ciprian says:

      it’’s embedded.. can’t remove it .. i will add a option in future versions.
      if you really want to remove it you need to edit the code…

    I use the theme, have made a bunch of changes: http://www.megscookies.com/

    Some suggestions while I’m thinking of it:

    .xCCBContet{;
    color:#E2F6FF;
    text-align: justify;

    color is easier to read, the justify positioning seems cleaner. Though I typically frown upon justify, it works here.

    The author and categories were incorrect and just showing Admin for everything. want to get the_author_link(); in there. I can email the revised snippet of code if you want.

    re: removing the facebook link, in header.php (wp-content/themes/twittplus/header.php) toward the bottom, there’s a div called div class=”xSocialBox”, the last line of that div class=”xSBF”, needs to be commented out. That’s it. Email me if you need help.

    Overall it’s a pretty good theme to start with. Thanks for developing it for us.

  7. Meg Peak says:

    Also noticed that the top content changer kept inserting  wherever I had a hyperlink in the original post. It was driving me batty. Finally dissected the content changer. Corrected it, changed the whole search function to (in the foreach loop, before $xContentB is declared:

    $xURL=”;
    $xTitle = strip_tags($attachment->post_title);

    $xContent = strip_tags($attachment->post_content);
    $xContent = substr($xContent,0,600).”…”;
    $xContent = preg_replace(‘/\s\s+/’, ‘ ‘,$xContent);

  8. MemoRex says:

    When it will be the update of the theme? 8)

  9. lephio says:

    on my installation slide are quite always stretched! can anybody help me?

  10. mrtok says:

    How do I change the image in the top rotater for each post…???? at the moment i get the same image “no image here”… I want to have a different image for each post… Thanks! great job on the design.

  11. lephio says:

    @mrtok, just put an image inside your post. twittplus should automatically put it on the rotater.

  12. lephio says:

    i just upgraded to 1.0.4 and i hoped that slides don’t stretch anymore but..

    ..any workaround?

    • Ciprian says:

      yes.. until the next version do this(in header.php):
      replace:

      if(strpos($xPicture, get_bloginfo(‘url’))!=FALSE) {
      $xPicture = $wud['basedir'].’/scripts/timthumb.php?w=320&h=246&src=’.$xPicture;
      }else {
      $xPicture = $xPicture;
      }

      with

      $xPicture = WP_CONTENT_URL.’/themes/twittplus/scripts/timthumb.php?w=320&h=246&src=’.$xPicture;

  13. lephio says:

    it works! thanx! i suggest a sort of “crop” option.
    so if i have a 200×300 image, it shows just 200×236 pixels, without any stretch.

  14. Jon says:

    I’m having trouble getting pictures to post in the header, just blank pics? Do I need to alter something?

  15. ben gumbelt says:

    I think I can change my blog thme with this, I love it, but it’s support for Adsense or others monetizing issue ?

    • Ciprian says:

      it suports widgets and plugins.. so yes it supports what ever goes with that , including adsense ..
      But wait untill version 1.0.7 is submitted.. the theme has 1 small but important change that needs taking care of

  16. Jeramey says:

    at the bottom of my blog there are 2 sections with the same information:
    blogroll
    search
    archives
    Pages

    Etc…

    Can these be removed?

  17. VEE says:

    I’m VEE from Chiang Mai, Thailand .This’s theme look like a simple but great. I think i will change my blog it. Thanks for shareing. Nice to meet u.

  18. Adam says:

    Great template! I can’t seem to locate the options section on the page however. I removed the bottom footers b/c I didn’t really care for the duplication of all the widget information.

  19. Adam says:

    Also, could anyone give me basic instructions for what I need to do in order to remove all of the “follow” icons in the header except for the RSS feed?

    When I remove the items from the header.php file then the logos move around and look bad. I would like to just keep the subscribe to RSS and the Feedburner subscription icons if possible.

    THANKS!

  20. Hello,

    I just started using your theme and love it. But i have one issue. When I put in the facebook link it does it incorrectly.

    Instead of going to facebook.com/8pointmma it goes to 8pointmma.com/ww.facebook.com/8pointmma.

    Any idea why?
