Inanis Glass Wordpress Theme Review
I personally don’t like Windows 7 design that much, but if you do, and you have a wordpress blog and you want a wordpress theme that looks like windows Vista , here it is! It’s called Inanis Glass and it’s available at wordpress.org. The gratest thing about this theme is the start menu that has all the things that usually go into the right sidebar or into the header. You can change themes from the sidebar, buttons will appear to write a new post or page if you are logged in and you have permissions, also it has buttons to show logged in user information or to log out. Tabs are inside the start menu just like running applications on windows. Video After the break.
Admin panel:
Simple and with a specific purpose(changing the sidebar image and changing text color)
Sidebar:
The sidebar is made out of a top static image(that can’t be removed) and a bottom content Disclaimer (surprisingly, can’t be removed either, at least not from the admin panel). The dynamic widgets go in the middle.
Start menu, custom designer tabs and other options
Imitating the windows vista sidebar, this theme has done a pretty well job at it having it look surprisingly similar, transparency and all.
You can change the background of the body (a really cool feature) that stays changed on refresh (the background changes for each user)
Use the start menu to do other things like log out, go to write a post or write a page admin panel page, navigate other pages, view user information…

The theme also supports threaded comments and has a cool width modification button at the top of the header with 3 size choices, the biggest one being the full width.
