Advanced YouTube Widget
So, after the Advanced Twitter Widget why not make another plugin just like this… only this time, for youtube! That’s what this is!
You can show up to 35 results of custmomized search or recent account videos.
It’s easy to install and the widget is available in the widgets panel , waiting to be placed in one of the sidebars anxiously.
Features:
- Editable Title of Widget
- Editable Width, Height of the Video Thumbnails
- Editable Value of search or account name.
- Editable Type: Search or by Account
- EditableNumber of results, up to 35 from dropdown

#2 A design problem fixed. Widget is now compatible with all wordpress themes (the well coded ones that is).

Hi, that’s a great plugin and I really want to use it, but I have one question.
What have I to do to show the title “Follow us on youtube” in the Widget itself and not upper the Widget. In this way it doesn’t fit to our layout.
I’m sorry but i did not add content text for this widget…The title does not fit because of your template design… there is a way for you to add text but it’s complicated:
The only way right now is to go in plugins->edit in the wp-admin and select advanced twitter widget in the right-top drop-down, click on advanced-twitter-widget/advanced-twitter-widget.php and add your text right after inside the first function advanced_twitter_widget_WidgetShow .

Just wondering is there any way to embed the widget in posts?
Hi, have just installed AYW in my WP 2.8.3. It is exactly what i was looking for, to show my last published videos on youtube. But when I place it higher in the sidebar it hides all other widgets i have.
i am looking into the code now but as i am not a programmer i am not finding the problem.

Should not act like that(it did in a previous version). Please be sure you have the latest version

I’m having a little problem – if a video has been “removed by user” the widget still shows the link to it.
