Advanced Youtube Widget 1.0.5 Wordpress Plugin Tutorial

Even though this tutorial is meant to be more advanced than the original Post it can’t be too complex as the plugin is not too complex…

This plugin is actually a widget with all it’s options inside the widget content… To get to the widget and configure it you need to go inside the admin panel of your wordpress blog/website under appearence – > widgets.

Inside the available widgets tab, drag and drop the “Advanced Youtube Widget” to the sidebar where you want it to go:

advanced youtube widget options#1 Title: The title of the widget. This is the text that’s going to appear as the title of the widget in the sidebar on your website.
#2 Video Sizes: The width and the height of the little images of the widget (width and height)
#3 Account/Search: Either enter a account name or search terms.
#4 Type: Values are Account or Search and the value at #3 is used according to this type
#5 Sort Order: Values are Rating, Relevance, Published, ViewCount – you can sort your results/videos by selection any of these values
#6 Number of Updates: Updates can select from 1 to 35…

How does it look in the website?

This is a theme I chose for my local server… (for review and for now) The right sidebar is all Advanced Twitter Widget…
